We all scream for ice cream!!

This adorable little girl was the perfect subject for a sample of my charcoal work on colored paper and mixing in white "charcoal" to the portrait.

For Mary Ann

Few times in life do we really meet a true hero, a person who will singlehandedly change your life. My dear friend Mary Ann is one of these heroes and my life is so much better for her being a part of it. Mary Ann has overcome the impossible and is doing so with flourish and grace. As a tribute to her and her amazing friends that have supported her through the past year, I started a very special portrait. Here is the final result and some pictures of it in progress.
